Just before we sneak into the second half of 2011, I thought I’d show you some well designed minimal themes that have been released within the last month. All of these themes have a minimal design and are free to download.
For me, the two stand out themes in this list are Yoko and Minimal Xpert. Yoho was designed using HTML5 and CSS3 for WordPress 3.1. It’s well documented, comes with its own options page and has the WordPress post format integrated (allowing you to post asides, galleries, images, videos, links and quotes).
Minimal Xpert is another classic from WP Explorer and is packed full of features such as a homepage slider, custom Google font integration and a great looking drop down navigation menu.
