Last month I shared with you 7 beautiful Wedding WordPress Themes. When writing the article I realised that there are not many designs that were created specifically for weddings and special occasions. So I was pleased to see WooThemes release a beautiful new theme called Announcement a few days ago.
The theme was created specifically for weddings, births, graduations and the launch of new websites (there are different structure presets for each situation) and comes in 7 different colour schemes.
One of the main features of the theme is the photograph slider that dominates the home page. It’s a great way of highlighting your latest content. It also allows you to customise the structure of your site by letting you use 1, 2 or 3 columns on each page.
Announcement also comes with several unique components such as a baby statistics grid, countdown timer, video switcher and much more. It also boasts full support for Google Fonts typography, 1 widget area on the home page, 4 footer regions and a widgetised sidebar. There is 8 custom WooThemes widgets to use in this area too. It’s a fantastic option for anyone who wants to publicise a special event.
A standard license for Announcement retails for $70 and comes with two bonus themes whilst a developer license costs $150 and comes with 3 bonus themes and the original photoshop psd file.
