Planet Ozh keep up their reputation as great plugin developers with the release of their useful Tweet Archiver; a WordPress plugin which backs up the tweets from your Twitter account.
Apparently Twitter only saves the last 3,200 tweets of any Twitter account. The Tweet Archiver resolves this issue by backing up your tweets via WordPress.
The plugin allows you to select a category and author to archive the tweets under. Hashtags can be linked to your blogs post tags too.
I’m not an active Twitter user by any standard so I don’t really have any major need for a plugin like this. However I’m sure that active Twitter users will find this useful.
