The more you work on your WordPress website, the more important it will be for you to protect your investment (whether that investment is financial, personal or both). Experienced webmasters should be aware of how important choosing unique login details for your website is however your users may not share your views on security.

It’s common knowledge that most people create simple easy to use passwords so that they remember them for future use more easily. This is understandable, particularly when you consider that most people who use the web a lot will need to remember around half a dozen passwords for the services they know (perhaps more). One way to encourage your users to use a strong password is to install the BadPass-WP plugin.

The plugin checks users password against a list of over 500 common passwords and warns them that the password is not strong enough. This is useful if you have a lot of authors on your site or require commentators to sign up.
