Modernist WordPress Theme
Released last month by Rodrigo Galindez, Modernist is a a WordPress blogging design with beautiful Typography. It is a minimilist design which will appeal to those who aren't looking for a lot of features in their theme.
The theme is widget ready and has text links to promote posts via Twitter, Facebook, Delicious, Digg and Reddit.
Modernist is free to download however a $25 donation will get you free theme updates and support for the theme via a mailing list.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this theme :)

Redline WordPress Theme
Built upon the WP Framework, Redline is a WordPress theme which was coded using HTML 5 and CSS level 3. The theme could be used for a blog, magazine or news website.
It features a drop down navigation menu, featured article on the home page and a 2 column sidebar.
The theme was recently upgraded to support the custom header image option however some features from WordPress 3.0 remain absent (which is quite common with WordPress themes at the moment).

Albizia WordPress Theme
Albizia is a new WordPress theme which comes with 5 different colour schemes. The theme is highly configurable and can be set to have a traditional 3 column design with a left or right sidebar, 2 or 1 sidebars on the left or right, or no sidebars at all.
It also boasts a drop down navigation menu at the top of the page and a tabbed sidebar widget.
The 3 column version of the theme reminds me of PHP content management systems like PHPNuke from ten years ago so in that respect the design looks a little dated. However, the theme works with WordPress 3.0+ and has a host of great features so I'm sure some of you will find it useful.

Columbus WordPress Theme
Columbus is a new free WordPress theme from WP Explorer. The theme features a familiar blogging layout with a drop down navigation menu, featured article slider in the header and a 4 column footer.
The theme also boasts it's own options panel. There you can install your Google Analytics code, integrate Twitter, change your about information,change the favicon, and much much more.
Columbus is a good option for anyone who is looking for a good blogging design.

Blissful Blog Wedding Theme
Blissful Blog is a beautiful free wedding WordPress design from Muku Studios. Whilst the theme is free to download, if you pay $19 you can get access to guides and other documentation as well as the Photoshop psd files.
The theme has a similar style to many photography designs with a long single column to highlight pictures.
It truly is elegant and boasts a ReTweet link on the home page, 3 beautiful footer widgets and a post footer sponsor widget.
Blissful Blog is a great option for anyone who wants to throw up a Wedding website for themselves or a friend which is both beautiful and useful. The design is free to download though if you want to make major changes to the theme it may be worth paying $19 in order to download the Photoshop psd files.

Blogging Times Extended WordPress Theme
Blogging Times Extended WordPress Theme is a fluid 4 column WordPress theme from 3 One Seven. It is a Thematic child theme.
The theme has integrated Flickr and page navi support, custom field options, flash clock, recent comments and related posts. It also has social bookmarking icons for StumbleUpon, Digg, Delicious and Twitter integrated above the comment area.
It's not the most advanced theme out there but it's worth a look if you are looking for a free news or magazine WordPress theme.

Retromania WordPress Theme
Retromania is a free blogging theme from designer Jay Hafling. The theme was originally released last September although it has been updated a few times this year and works fine with WordPress 3.0.
The theme comes with it's own contact template and the author released the psd graphic files as well.
The theme could be vastly improved if it was updated with more social media options and an improved comment area. However it should be more than sufficient for those who are looking for something simple.
