Add Stylish Coupon Codes With The Coupon Code WordPressPlugin

On Friday I reviewed the CouponPress WordPress Theme. Today I would like to talk about the Coupon Code WordPress Plugin; a premium WordPress plugin from Weborithm and Chris Guthrie.

The plugin is not a complete coupon solution like CouponPress. It was designed to boost commissions for those with existing websites and blogs. The plugin helps address the problem with a lot of coupon affiliate business models. Quite often, affiliates are provided with a general coupon code that is available to all affiliates. Occasionally, visitors will copy the code and paste it into the merchants website directly rather than following your affiliate link. If this happens, you’ve just lost a commission. It’s a problem I have experienced with my own site CouponTriumph.

CouponCode stops visitors from copying the long coupon code directly and forces them to click on your affiliate link instead. This ensures that you get 100% of the commissions generated through your website.

Adding a coupon is very easy. All you have to do is name your coupon, add your coupon code and affiliate URL and then specify the shortcode and caption you want to use.

If you choose to mask your affiliate URL you can track clickthroughs using the plugin. You can also set whether links are opened on the same browser window or in a new window and you can choose from 15 colours for your button too.

Essentially, what the plugin does is change your coupon code from text to a clickable image link that has your coupon code written on it (actually, it uses flash rather than an image). An example of the coupon the plugin generates can be seen below.

In the video below Chris walks you through how he adds coupons to his own website.

Coupon Code lets you add an unlimited number of coupons to your website. It’s very easy to use and is a great script for anyone who promotes coupons through their website. A license for Coupon Code retails for $37 and comes with support and free updates for one year.

If the coupon is issued by the retailer, the product was never offered at the original price and the coupon represents a reduction in the amount paid and the tax.

The most of business man's, they do publish about the discount and with the free coupons to attract people to purchase more item, it was a common issues.
