FoodPress is a beautiful blogging design that was created specifically for sharing recipes.
It was designed specifically for WordPress 3.2 and comes with 3 different homepage layouts. The default layout shown in the demo looks great with a good looking featured slider highlighting your best content prominently on the homepage.
Unique widgets make the sidebar very easy to customise. You can add a little information about yourself via the about widget and place a tabbed widget which shows popular posts, latest comments and tags. You can also add a subscription box for users to subscribe via RSS, Twitter or Facebook and there is a Flickr widget too.
A unique template is included for recipe posts. The number of people that the meal can serve and the total cooking time is showing to the right hand side of the recipe title. Just underneath the main picture of the meal being prepared is a shopping list table that shows the main ingredients for the recipe.
A single license for FoodPress retails for $35 from ThemeForest. Whilst the theme was developed for food related blogs, it could easily be used for a variety of blog topics.
The original photoshop PSD file for the logos is included in the zip file and buyers are able to get support for the theme directly in the developers support forum too.
