I did see the Rich framework, it indeed seems to be quite a rich framework with the multitude of options in offer. I checked one of their child theme, the affiliate marketing child theme, I think since it is a theme for affiliate marketers I suppose an inbuilt subscription box is a must, it can be placed in the sidebar or most preferably below posts in single post pages. Also If they could add a inbuilt related posts option then It would be even more awesome.

Also for a theme design suggestion, I would say they could design a cookery/recipes related theme next.. I think there is a dearth of theme in that niche. Just saying ;)

    • Adding more drag and drop feature that will result in product simplification process.
    • I would advice them to develop one photo selling eCommerce theme in their theme collection.

    • Add more easy to insert shortcodes to enhance the design.
    • Full screen showcase WordPress theme
  5. RichWP must design some themes on Music and bands, they will be a hit.:)

I would like them to improve Rich WP affiliate theme. The present color combination hurt my eyes! There is just red text on white background.

It would be better if they could change the color scheme.

A fitness theme would be a great addition to Rich WP group of themes.

    >> Sure we have an integrated related post option :) Choose to display your related posts with post titles or the featured image.

    >> We have a full screen gallery built in. You can also choose to create full-width backgrounds and even randomize them.

    >> There are plenty of design presets shipped with Affiliate Theme. Choose one of the pre-made designs and customize them (colors, backgrounds, paddings, margins, sidebars, etc..) or create your own design from scratch. No coding knowledge necessary.

Ah, thanks for replying Felix..must commend you on the terrific work with the themes. Well maybe you have the options but I could not see it in the demo of the affiliate theme, I think it must have been disabled in the theme options. Well, I think it is pretty hard to see all the features of a theme just from the demo or the feature list, not until one can get his/her hand on it ;).. Anways thanks again for replying.

Looks like a powerful theme framework. Lots of features! But as a developer I would like to know about it's custom hooking system.
RichWP has already covered a lot of niches regarding theme idea. I would love to see something different like theme for E-Commerce or Music sites.

Well, it would be cool if all theme developers could come up with one set of theme hooks to cater for all the themes on the net. I know there are loads of hooks in WP, but there are many created by theme developers and they all have different ideas. It would also help the rest of us as I personally feel it would be easier to learn and implement.

I have read countless posts/forums whereby users are asking how to implement, which hook to use and if there is a shortcode that can be used.

Maybe I am crazy, but I feel it might help many WP users out there. Would love to hear what others think.

Hmm.. I didn't know that. Thanks for the reply Felix. :)

They really need to catch up with other frameworks.

    1. A built in multi tab widget (like canvas of woo themes)
    2. They need to improve on their magazine theme, layout is not upto, what users expect today. some of the ideas can be taken from london-live (themeforest), unspoken (wpshower).

    Hope this helps.

    >> I am not a big fan of adding widgets to themes. There are plenty of really good multi tab widgets out there that can easily be installed via a plugin.

    >>Thanx, these two look good. I'll make a note to create another magazine styled child theme.

Felix, don't get me wrong. But most of the non technical users like to get most of their needs fulfilled with "out-of-box" solution. I'll still stick to my point. Also as we are seeing drag-and-drop themes are in fashion these days having a balanced number of built in widget helps users getting things done quickly.

Trust me or not, I wasn't able to find one reliable multi tab widget, which goes well with my theme :(

    Anyways, thanks for replying back.

    >> I totally agree and I have so much features built in already, that it never crossed my mind to include widgets as well.

    >> This is getting interesting and I will have a look into this matter. if I can't find something really I will take the time and come up with a solution.

Thanx for your participation in this discussion.
