Suggest A Theme Academic mix :)

    Howdy,
    I would like to create community for collage students in my town, that will have sections like that:

    1. map with icons, that will show pubs, restaurants, cinemas, library, etc. with listing below map (I already managed filtering solution using custom post types), and option for visitors/pub owners to submit new one (moderation enabled)
    2. Simple job board with jobs for students
    3. Board (the easiest one :)
    4. Classified ads (with payment integration)
    5. Gallery for each user

    any ideas ? :) any themes that could just look good with those option are pleased :)

    You will be able to find a dedicated theme for each of those sections though you would be as well finding a general theme and building each section using plugins

    It will certainly be a big site though. Adding a gallery for each user might be something that integrates with the discussion board and their user profile area.

    I won in a giveaway domestica theme from wpzoom http://www.wpzoom.com/themes/domestica/ and I'll try to make this work. And yes it's going to be huge site. My plan is to reach 5-9k uniqe visits per day and get some money from ads, but adding cassified ads should generate more income. Hope I'll be able to code stuff like this :)

    Looks like a good theme though I'm not sure an estate design is the best starting point for the website you are trying to build. I'd recommend a good framework or minimal theme.
