Actually I wanted to make my blog posts look attractive so are there any plugins or any code block which can help me add colorful blocks of text or colorful sub heading. Not colorful I mean something which looks attractive.

Can you expand on which part of your site you want to modify. Is it your blogging tips website you are referring to? Are you simply looking to change the background colour of your H1 text?

Yup Kevin, My Blogging tips blog, and I am referring to the h2, h3 sub headings. Not the main h1/ title heading....for reference you could see the screenshot

The source site of the screen shot is:

    Something similar to that

All you have do is check the class that is being used in your single.php template to style the header. Then look the class up in your stylesheet and change the background colour.

Let me know if you're unsure of any part of this.

Ahhh. I wasn't following you correctly. You are referring to H2 and H3 headings inside posts - not at the top of the page.

According to your source those headings are controlled by a class called note but there is no reference to a class called note in the stylesheet you linked to. Are you using a plugin to style these headings i.e. is the CSS located in another file?

Oh, it looks like you got mistaken, the blog you are currently looking on i.e. http://www.dailyblogging.org is not my blog, that is the blog whose heading style i want to copy. The class called note is in the source code of that blog not mine. My blog is at http://www.netchunks.com/ and the CSS stylesheet I posted is of my blog :p

I'm swamped today and tomorrow but can look at this in a few days. I recommend reading some tutorials on CSS in the meantime as it's not too difficult. You just need to create a border around your H2 class at the bottom and right hand side and set a background colour.

If you set me up as a temporary admin I can try and add something for you in a few days.
