How To Login To Your Account With Facebook

    One of the best things about the forum script we are using here is that members can login via Facebook. When you signed up initially to the forums you had two options: create an account manually or create one a little quicker by signing in via Facebook.

    If you signed up the traditional way, don't worry, as you can add your Facebook account to your account via the Facebook integration page. All you have to do is grant access to the WP Mods sign in application and you can then login using your username and password or via Facebook.

    If you are unsure about how this process works please let us know and we will help you out :)

    Can you include twitter too? I rarly use Facebook and never use it to login anywhere. I sure there are many who think like me. But I love to use twitter to register. But I've signed up anyway. :)

    The forum software is called XenForo. You can see a link to the website at the bottom of every forum page :)

    Is there any additional use on integrating Facebook with login, like updating my activity on the forum in Facebook or anything like that ?

    No. At the moment the Facebook integration is simply to allow you to login here more easily. I believe the forum software will be adding additional logins like Twitter soon.

    I have already added by facebook profile... but I really do not know any such profit of adding it...The only advantage I can think of is that, if you ever forget your password for the forum you can easily login using facebook :D

    I actually find it incredibly useful. If you connect a facebook account to your profile, if you are logged into Facebook you will be automatically signed in here whenever you visit the forums. This saves you from having to enter your username and password each time :)

    I did not knew that, automatic sign in through facebook is really an awesome feature, saves a lot of time :D...
