I'm having trouble finding the right theme. I just downloaded traction but I'm having trouble getting it to do what I want. I just stumbled across this blog that's attached. Can anyone identify this theme or something close to it? Thanks for your time.
That looks like a custom solution. You should be able to mimic the design by changing the background image and changing the nav colours. Might be best to purchase a premium theme thats close to it (as you suggest). Will you be using it for a corporate website or a blog or portfolio?
You should modify twenty eleven theme or create a child theme. All to do is modify backgrounds and header + navigation Or like Kevin said buy a premium theme that looks close to that.
