Need to email calendar entries to user base

    I've searched high and low and have been unable to find what I think should be a relatively easy solution to these specifications:

    1. Maintain a list of email addresses along with First and Last Names, if possible
    2. Email to this list (the whole list; weekly or on demand) Calendar events for upcoming week and beyond -- either delimited by time, or just the rest of the scheduled events. (No RSVP functionality is necessary.)
    3. It would be great to delineate by color or by heading different categories of events.
    This is for a school's music program, so groups would be marching band, color guard, percussion, brass, woodwinds, etc., showing practices as well as performances.

    More functionality would be great, but I've been unable to find any solution or combination of plugins that would do such a thing, including various WP membership software.

    Can anyone help?

    A membership plugin or newsletter plugin could do what you want. It's also worth considering an email broadcaster such as aweber or mailchimp.
