Thematic was one of the first WordPress frameworks to gain popularity within the WordPress community. Developed by the Automattic team ThemeShaper, it has unfortunately not been updated since October 2010 however the framework can still be downloaded from the official WordPress theme directory.
Although the framework hasn’t been updated in close to a year and is therefore lacking a lot of great new features that were added in the last year, it’s still a useful framework that is both SEO friendly and easy to use.
Today I would like to show you all 25 free designs that were released as child themes for thematic. Most of them were released in 2009 or 2010 so you should test the theme first to see that it still works with the latest version of WordPress.
