I Like This is a simple plugin that lets visitors show their appreciation for posts they like. It can be added automatically or manually by calling the function in your template.
Once installed, a little love heart will be placed underneath your articles. Users simply need to click the + button (or ‘I Like This’ text) to show their appreciation.
When I first came across the plugin I thought it was a little pointless. On it’s own I do think it’s kind of meaningless. However, the plugin includes a widget that lets you display your most liked posts. This makes it a fun alternative to displaying your most popular posts on your site i.e. instead of using comments or page views as a factor.
