Lefty is the latest free WordPress theme from AJ Clarke. It’s a fun blogging design that has the sidebar on the left hand side (hence the name Lefty!) and has been designed for the ‘Casual Blogger’.
The home page features a great looking featured slider at the top which can be changed to use a number of different transitions. Post thumbnails are used on the index page as well as the related posts section underneath blog posts. The post page has a clean yet fun look with beautiful tag buttons, a cool author information box, related posts and threaded comments.
So many themes nowadays have dozens of features, even when they are not neccessary. Whilst Lefty is quite limited in some respects, what it does it does very well. It’s the perfect design for a personal blog or entertainment blog and I’m sure those of you who are looking for a simple blog theme will appreciate its clean and fun design
