List Yo’ Files is a useful plugin which let’s you upload and delete your files through your admin area.
To upload a file you need to set the absolute path for the directory you want to upload files to i.e. images/logo/ etc.
Deleting files works in the same way. After entering the folder you want to delete files from the files will be listed in alphabetical order.
The plugin also lets you list the files of any directory in one of your posts or pages using the shortcode [listyofiles]. You can determine in what order the files are listed (alphabetical, date etc) and set filters to only list certain file types. You can also list results in a table, state the filesize and last modified date, and set links to open in a new window.
This feature would prove useful for those who need to list downloadable files for their readers e.g. music files, images, text files, spreadsheets etc.
