Polar Media is a fantastic WordPress theme from theme developers BizzThemes. It could be used for a personal blog or a news or magazine website.
The most prominent features of Polar Media is the magazine style layout on the home page. This featured post area has a unique design which should appeal to those of you who are not so keen on the popular slider method of displaying articles (though the theme actually includes a slider option too). Featured images are a big part of the themes design as the blog index, random posts and latest post areas all show post images.
Categories also have featured images displayed at the top. It’s a great way of pushing traffic to your best content.
As with all Bizz Themes, Polar Media comes with Ajax pagination, Google fonts integration and a unique options area that lets you easily customise the colour scheme and structure of your site.
A limited version of Polar Media is available for free however for the complete theme and full support via the BizzThemes support themes you will need to purchase a standard license for $69. A developer license that comes with the original Photoshop PSD files is available for $99.
