A link to the top of the page is common place in a lot of website footers. If you want to provide a link to users to go back to the top of the page but are looking for something different then you may want to consider the Dynamic “To Top” WordPress Plugin from Matt Varone.
The plugin automatically adds a button to the bottom right hand side of your page. The button only appears if the user scrolls downwards and it remains stationery in the bottom position.
In the settings area you can set the speed in which the page scrolls back to the top and the way it scrolls up too.
Also, if you don’t like the upward arrow then you can replace it with the text of your choice.
Dynamic “To Top” is a very basic plugin but it’s perfect for those who are looking for an easy way of helping visitors return to the top of the page.
