Shortcode Reference WordPress Plugin

Written by on December 8, 2010 in WordPress Plugins - 3 Comments

Many of the plugins I have shared with you all over the last year allow you to integrate images, videos and content into your blog posts using shortcodes. These codes are designed to save you time when you are writing your posts however the more shortcode plugins you add, the more difficult it is to remember them.

The Shortcode Reference plugin makes using shortcodes much easier by adding a reference box which lists all possible shortcodes to the sidebar of your post editor. Depending on how much documentation the plugin developer added for the shortcode, a reference box may appear underneath with a short description of what the shortcode does and how to use it.

It’s a useful plugin for anyone who uses shortcodes a lot. It’s a shame the plugin only adds a reference though as it would have been much better if clicking on an item on the list adds the shortcode for you to your post.

More information can be found at the link below.

Thanks,
Kevin

It was exactly what i was searching for.

I will no longer have to check each plugin to remember their shortcode. Thanks.
