If your business has defined opening hours, whether it be for your shop, restaurant or help desk; it may be worthwhile displaying your business hours prominently to visitors. Today I would like to share with you two simple WordPress plugins that help you do this.
The business hours plugin allows you to set your hours in the admin area and then display them to visitors in any widget area on your website. It’s very easy to use. The first thing you need to do is click on the days which your business is open and then define the opening and closing hours.
Through the widget you can modify the template for the header, working hours text area and footer. You can add text if you wish and link to one of your own classes to style the widget differently.
The great thing about the plugin is that it only displays the opening hours for that day. The plugin checks your settings to determine what day it is and published the corresponding hours accordingly.
If you business is closed that day, the widget will instead print a closed message.

This plugin lets you add business hours to a page or post using the short code [business_hours]. All you have to do is set the day and hour range that your business is open.
The output shows the opening hours for the whole week in a nice presentable table. It would be a useful addition to a business’s contact or about page

I hope you find these two simple plugins useful. Do you know of any other good plugins for businesses?
Thanks,
Kevin

Just to let you know I added a shortcode to show the working hours in a post or page in http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/business-hours-plugin/ :)
Cheers!
