Suburbia WordPress Theme

Written by on November 18, 2010 in WordPress Themes - 3 Comments

Suburbia is a beautiful free grid based WordPress design from Demian Peeters and WPShower.

The theme supports all of WordPress 3.0+ new features such as custom menus and backgrounds and boasts its own options page too. Although the theme could be used for any genre, I think the grid design makes it best suitable for an online magazine rather than a blog which is updated daily.

Suburbia is compatible with all major browsers and can be downloaded for free from WPShower.

Thanks,

Hi Kevin,

thank you so much. It was fairly easy yes. I haven't done any large coding for many years, and that was never really to a high standard, but it was easy to pick up again.
If you know your way around a css sheet then it is all relatively straight forward.

I do feel however that the css arrangement on this theme is a little messy, and I plan on tidying mine up to make it easier to edit in the future.

This really is a fantastic theme. I've been looking for something flexible and striking to use over on my architecture blog, and this does the job very well.
Reliable and secure, so far its been nothing but a dream!

Feel free to come on over and check my blog and see how adaptable it is.

It's looking good Nick. Was it easy to customise?

:)
