Verbage is a clean WordPress design from theme developers Organic Themes.
The theme is WordPress 3.0 ready and has a boxy minimal design reminiscent of the old revolution themes which were popular a few years ago. It has a beautiful featured article slider on the home page and a decent drop down navigation menu. It would be suitable for a magazine or a blog.
Verbage is free to download however many page templates (such as the portfolio page) and features are not included (this is known as the freemium pricing structure).
The premium version costs $69 and has every feature included. I feel that Verbage is a fantastic free WordPress design but it isn’t worth $69 in my opinion as there are hundreds of better alternatives.
If you choose the free version for your site you will have the option to upgrade to the full version at a later date if it suits your needs.
