Hello and welcome to WP Mods, a new site which is dedicated to everything wonderful about WordPress.

My name is Kevin Muldoon, a 30 year old self employed webmaster who hails from Central Scotland. I have been building blogs and websites using WordPress for around 4 years now, though I have been working on the web since 2000. Those of you who use WordPress for their blogs may know me from my last blog Blogging Tips, which I sold last month to a great affiliate marketer called Zac Johnson, or perhaps from one of my other websites.

Why WordPress?

Whenever I start a new blog or website I look to WordPress first as it’s quick to setup and easy to customise due to the thousands of themes available. The great volume of plugins available also let you use WordPress for many things other than blogging such as galleries, portfolios, product sites, mini content sites and much more.

Which is why WordPress was the first subject I thought of when considering what my next website should focus on. Primarily I will be showing you all some fantastic free and premium themes on WP Mods. I’ll will also be introducing you to WordPress plugins which allow you to speed things up, be more productive, and add more functionality to your blog or website.

Additionally, I will be giving you tips on how to edit your WordPress templates and customise your website, reporting the latest WordPress news and giving my view on some WordPress related discussion topics . I’m sure you will find WP Mods helpful if you are a WordPress blogger so make sure you subscribe to our feed so that you never miss an article.
