WordPress 3.2 Release Candidate Now Available For Download

Written by on June 15, 2011 in WordPress News - No comments

WordPress core developer Andrew Nacin yesterday announced the release of the first release candidate of WordPress 3.2. The stable release of 3.2 is scheduled for the end of June.

Since the beta release last month they have managed to close more than 350 bug tickets. Andrew noted that Twenty Eleven isn’t quite at the release candidate stage as yet. I’m really looking forward to the release of Twenty Eleven in particular as it’s perfect for small content websites.

If you want to try RC1 out you should install the WordPress Beta Tester plugin. Alternatively, you can download the file directly in zip format.
