WP Tweetbox is a WordPress Plugin which automatically adds a tweetbox underneath your posts and pages. This allows visitors to retweet your articles directly with ease.
The box is fully customisable. The height and width can be modified and you can choose a variety of services as a URL shortener including su.pr, bit.ly and wp.me. You can also use the WordPress post ID.
In order to use the plugin you need to acquire a Twitter API key for your website. This should only take you a few minutes to set up.
You can hide the tweetbox if you want for any post or customise the tweet message for individual posts.
If you don’t like using the ReTweet button to encourage your posts to be tweeted you may want to consider using WP Tweetbox. It’s not obtrusive so it could always be used in conjunction with a ReTweet button.
